The Aussie actress was captured in these provocative poses by celebrity snapper Mario Testino for high-end fashion bible V Magazine.V is usually reserved for hot young stars such as Lady GaGa,
Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley. But 45-year-old Nicole, who just seems to get better with age, more than holds her own as a cover girl.
Showing off her toned body and enviable curves in a series of risque outfits, she had no hesitation in stripping off for the photos. She said: “I don’t really make decisions. I go with the flow. If I were a strategically minded person, I think I would have a far different career.
“But I would be more outlandish if I could. A lot of times you just don’t get the chance.”
It probably helped that she was in character as sexy Charlotte Bless, a maneater fixated on prisoners, from new film The Paperboy.
Testino, who famously photographed Princess Diana for Vanity Fair, was so thrilled with Nicole he kept shouting out “Beautiful, beautiful” and “You are so hot! Look at your body! It is incredible.”
But in the accompanying interview, Nicole blows her sex bomb image by admitting that being a busy working mum leaves little time for romance.
She and her husband, country singer Keith Urban have two daughters Sunday, four, and 19-month-old Faith. Nicole also has two children from her marriage to Tom Cruise — Isabella, 19, and Connor, 17.
She said: “I rented this beautiful house on the beach. I thought, we’ll swim in the ocean and just get lost in each other.
“So we go down, just us, and I’m like, ‘We really should bring the kids’. Then the kids come down and the whole dynamic changes.
“Another time, we go out one night then we were both in tears. It was ridiculous. But time is so precious and I love the sound and the feel of them. I don’t want to miss anything. And I don’t want them to go, ‘Where’s my mom?’”
