20 kills in China, 5.6 magnitude earthquake

 A 5.6 magnitude earthquake rattled the southwest province of China, killing at least 20 people and damaging more than 20,000 houses, reported The Times
of India.

According to US Geological Survey, the quake hit at a depth of 9.8 kilometers.

The earthquake rocked the areas of Yiliang country of Yunnan and Weining country of Guizhou, damaging as many as 20,000 houses, said Xinhua.
